Funny and borderline inappropriate

Bobby and I have always gotten the cute little holiday cards with our friends kids pictures or our little cousins pictures on them, this got us thinking about when we have kids and the holidays roll around. I found the funniest shirts ever online that we may be dressing our kids up in for the oh so famous holiday greeting card.

After careful consideration I decided on this cake. I'm eliminating the dots (which you cant really see in the picture) and changing the color of the ribbon and bows to brown. They are textured to look like a raw silk material which is pretty similar to my godvari silk wedding gown. Instead of the flower on top we have a crystal "P" that was given to me by a fellow knottie, if you know of anyone that would want it after our wedding let me know. The cake is delicious! Godiva marble cake with Godiva liquor, can you say yummy!!!!!!!

Can my waist look like this all the time?

I love how tiny my waist looks in this picture. Granted there is a built in corset in the dress which is sucking everything in and my endless pair of the wonderful amazing best invention ever Spanx is helping in the suction process, but who cares. My waist looks skinny and that totally makes my day! I'm considering going back to Jenny Craig to help with the remaining few pounds but I'm not sure if I can handle that again. My dear friend Jenny Craig did help me drop the 20+ lbs I had added over the past year or so, I am considering it. Hmmmm........

What to wear in the hair??????

I'm torn between two headpieces. They are both completely different and I just don't know what to do. I've taken a vote and its really a 50/50 split. Thanks for the help!!!!!! =) I'm either wearing my hair blown out and a loose half up half down or I may wear it all down and have loose curls which I've been doing myself lately and gotten fairly good at it. What to do what to do!

This was a gift for my Bridesmaids

I found this gorgeous clutch online at Bloomingdale's. It was on sale, take an additional 40% off and I had a free shipping code. I bought 4 of them and thought I got the best deal ever! What a great gift for my Bridesmaids, or so I thought. When I got them I was so excited, I ripped open the bag like a mad woman only to find out that they looked like the biggest piece of crap ever! To think these were originally $170 clutches, ridiculous! They didn't even look like they were $30 clutches, I was so disappointed. Needless to say they have been returned and now I'm waiting on my refund to reflect on my card. They said it could take 28 days for a refund to post. That's a little nuts. Back to the drawing board with gift ideas!!!!!! Only 115 days left but who's counting?

My Flower Trial

I had my flower trial a few weeks ago and am very happy with the results. I'm eliminating the votives and adding taller candle holders which are pictured above. Fortunately I was able to purchase a few boxes from a fellow knottie but I'm on the hunt for 9 more boxes. If you see them let me know! Our linens are the same texture as the ones featured above, I think it's called crushed satin but they will be ivory instead of brown. Our chiavaris are mahogany with ivory crushed satin cushions. I feel like I have been planning this forever, I cant wait any more. I need April to hurry up and get here!!!!!!

Entered My First Contest

My Seating Chart

My friend Amy had this really cool seating chart so I'm going to use it as well. I'm going to have my seating chart on a gold easel instead of a table.

Beautiful Centerpieces

I love centerpieces with sticks so that is a must with me. There's a picture of a centerpiece I'm looking for from ms.m&m07, she had exactly what I want. My flower mock up is next week so i'll have pics soon.

If the Shoe Fits

You know what they say, "if the shoe fits". Well with me that's pretty rare. My feet enjoy wearing a size 5 or 5.5, as odd as that may seem for a 28 year old it's true. I have a difficult time finding shoes that fit comfortably and look cute. Most shoes start at a 6, that just doesn't fly with my tiny toes. I've ordered a few shoes as I need them for my December dress fitting and its down to these three. So many pros and cons of all of these shoes. The one I love is a 4 inch heel, Zappos said it was 3.5, they lied! I love them but cant walk in em'. I tried to all over the house. The other two are not as cute but a lot more comfortable. I'm going shopping tomorrow with all of the other lunatics that wait for Black Friday, we'll see what else turns up.

Setting the Tone

I'm still deciding between these 3 invites, I keep chaning my mind and it's making me crazy. I've asked many people for their opinions and they are just all over the board. Whichever I decide it will be in espresso and ivory with a funky cursive type font. I cant even imagine how I'm going to choose a font when i've been back and forth with these damn 3 invites for so long. Does a 3 sided coin exist? What to do what to do??????????

All About Us

Bobby and I met in 2001 right before my 21st birthday. We were in the same group of friends and would see each other out often. I was dating someone else at the time and one day Bobby said to me, "when are you going to get rid of "x" and give me a shot". Little did he know I had just recently broke things off and was back on the scene. A few weeks later we started dating and the rest is history! We moved in together within a few months and became inseperable. We bought our first house about two years ago and couldnt be happier. Both of us are origionally from South Florida but have made Orlando our home. Keep your eyes on the blog because I will be updating this often. Happy wedding planning everyone!

Eat Some Cake

We're having a Godiva Marble Cake that is just amazing!!!! I'm a huge dessert person so cake is very important to me. At first I didnt think I needed anything special but then I realized I may have been losing my mind. Of course I need something special, a great looking cake and an even better taste! We're getting our cake from A Piece of Cake by Elena. Its going to be a 3 tiered white buttercream cake with a brown ribbon at the base of each tier. They'll be a bow in the middle of each ribbon and it will be textured to look like a raw silk material. Since I'm such a lunatic when it comes to desserts we're also having a 3 tiered dessert tray with mini pastries delivered to each table. My mouth is watering!!!!!!!!!!
